as unusual as it is for me..
i don't have much to say.
me and sister-bird each had what we now
refer to as 'a floor day'.
that's when the grief is so intense
your knees give out and you melt to the floor.
more than likely wailing and sobbing is involved.
followed up by an intense head ache.
see mourning is not for sissies.
speaking of mourning..
nearly all the way to grief group last nite
my tears were racing down my face.
AT group...no tears.
but you know what?
my mom is worthy of being missed.
she is worthy of my tears.
so i'll just keep letting them happen
when they need to.
today is back to elder-people care.
gotta run dad to the doc, then
prove he is who he says he is to ATT.
bless their little hearts for being
annoying on the phone.
also stop to leave some things for my aunti.
am putting some of the plants we got in
different pots. not too fond of the funeral-y
looking ones. it was starting to look like a
flower shop here.
also being thankful for my internet friends
and their encouraging words.
girls.... you are gifts to my heart.
nope.. see i told you
i don't have much to say today.
: )
I'm glad you can grieve. I'm glad you have a sister to grieve alongside you.
ReplyDeleteI dread these days and at times long for my dad to be at peace. All the confusion and unrest in his eyes at times just kills me. And then the sorrow in my mom's is hard to see.I cry for the loss of his mind almost daily. So glad I have my sisters and so glad you have yours. Hugs to you my friend.
